DESIGN & ENGINEERING

IMS studio structures are designed and engineered to the highest standards by experienced industry professionals. Design Criteria and Performance Specifications are consistent with state-of-the-art soundstages, production offices, and production workshops. What would normally take months in time and expense is complete with Design Development Drawings, including structural and MEP engineering and architectural drawings. Site Surveys to complete footings and foundations are necessary to produce Construction Drawings for building permits.
IMS strudio structures are pre-designed and pre-engineered with alternatives allowing built-in flexibility for numerous options to connect buildings, the location and number of doors and accesses, and optional amenitites, all available as menu items without redesigning the structures.

PROCUREMENT

IMS works directly with manufacturers of our building materials, including throughout the design and engineering process, to secure optimal pricing and delivery schedules. As a result, the material costs of IMS studio structures are known up front, a significant time and cost advantage to the typical design-bid-build process. IMS establishes and oversees procurement logistics and related schedules via partnerships with internaitional Project Management and logistics firms and in collaboration with the awarded General Contractor and sub-contractors.
Our pre-designed and intigrated procurement process allows costs and schedules to be known without having to design the structures from scratch, and before commencing the manufacturing process.

DEVELOPMENT

IMS partners with studio-experienced, international project management firms and regional/national construction companies to build our structures. Our consultants and project managers coordinate bidding and award processes and are accutely familiar with known costs, methodologies, and time to develop studio properties. IMS knowledge and experience is a resource to the awarded contactors, wherever the location.
In collaboration with the construction and development team, we manage and oversee the construction process, acting as the owner's representative throughout the process, including managing costs and schedules until completion of construction.

10,000 sf - 50,000 sf temporary structures are delivered and constructed within weeks in nearly any international location and avaialble on a short or long term basis.
